STUDENT/PARENT EXPECTATIONS

​STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE
    1.    ON TIME, PREPARED and ORGANIZED
    2.    RESPECTFUL and HONORABLE - zero tolerance for dishonorable behavior 
    3.    COMMUNICATIVE and ACTIVE LISTENERS
    4.    TEACHABLE and ENGAGED IN THE LEARNING PROCESS
PRACTICING/HOMEWORK

• Each student’s homework will vary.  
• Rebekkah will assign homework every week, and students are expected to maintain an organized practice regimen, according to their schedule.

PLEASE BRING TO LESSONS

• It is highly recommended that students have a music bag that they put all of the following items:
• Books - your vocal library 
• 3-ring binder
• Practice Journal/Notebook (your binder can double as your practice journal)
• Pencil
• Students who consistently come to lessons unprepared will lose their time slot
• Also - please make sure to bring water with you to your lessons

PLEASE KNOW THIS:  I am committed to helping you achieve your goals.  I love what I do, and am thrilled to help you.  However, you have to want to reach your goals more than I want you to.  Meaning, I can't reach your goals for you.  I will help you and give you the tools you need to get closer to your goals, if not meet them altogether.  Your progress is directly related to how dedicated you are to the process.
